This is the North Fork Chena River. We went camping there Friday, the 12th.
It's REALLY cold in this river and the currents are very strong.
So it's dangerous to swim here.
But it's still fun to skip rocks!
A random dog I took a picture of walking around.
Cool rock!
Splash!
A tilted view of the river.
A beautiful, cloudless day.
The other side of North Fork Chena river.
The rest of the photos are taken from a trail called Angle Rocks.
Angle Rocks is a beautiful trail.
But the trail can be difficult. It's filled with rocks and roots that are waiting to trip you!
A magnificent view of the angelic rocks.
A sign about forest fires. Forest fires are helpful, they give plants a new start.
Along the side of the trail is still North Fork Chena River.
It's amazing how the sunlight hits different parts of the mountain, making it a fabulous sight to see.
An old abandoned animal hole.
And that was our weekend!
