I Scream for Ice Cream

When you are in Fairbanks, one of the places you HAVE to go is Hot Licks. Hot Licks is this amazing ice cream place, but the ice cream is HOMEMADE. It tastes amazing, if you are an ice cream lover, Hot licks is the place to go.

Enjoying our tasty ice creams/shakes. Strawberry for Carlos, cookies 'n cream for Noah, and CHOCOLATE cookies 'n cream for me! I think I found my perfect flavor!

North Fork Chena River

This is the North Fork Chena River. We went camping there Friday, the 12th.

It's REALLY cold in this river and the currents are very strong.

So it's dangerous to swim here.

But it's still fun to skip rocks!

A random dog I took a picture of walking around.

Cool rock!

Splash!

A tilted view of the river.

A beautiful, cloudless day.

The other side of North Fork Chena river.

The rest of the photos are taken from a trail called Angle Rocks.
Angle Rocks is a beautiful trail.

But the trail can be difficult. It's filled with rocks and roots that are waiting to trip you!

A magnificent view of the angelic rocks.

A sign about forest fires. Forest fires are helpful, they give plants a new start.

Along the side of the trail is still North Fork Chena River.

It's amazing how the sunlight hits different parts of the mountain, making it a fabulous sight to see.

An old abandoned animal hole.

And that was our weekend!

Tundra!

These are products we got from a hilarious comic strip called Tundra.
In the middle is a set of Tundra cards.

This is obviously a Tundra calender, signed by the author!

And this is the inside cover of the newest Tundra book, "Out on a Limb".

But that's not it! We love Tundra so much that we got.....

Tundra T-Shirts!

A photo of my brothers and I with Chad Carpenter, the author of Tundra at the Tanana Valley State Fair.

A side view of the Tundra booth at the fair.
